Tessel is a standalone creative layout application developed by Paul Butterworth, trading as Nerve Films. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it.

Information We Collect

Tessel does not collect, track, or store personal data. We do not require user accounts, and we do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.

User Content

All projects, images, and documents created in Tessel are stored locally on your device or, if enabled by you, in your own iCloud account. We do not have access to this content.

iCloud

If you choose to use iCloud, your data is stored and managed by Apple in accordance with its iCloud Privacy Policy. Tessel does not operate its own servers.

Crash Reporting

If you have enabled “Share Mac Analytics” in your system settings, Apple may provide the developer with anonymised crash reports. These reports do not contain personal information and are provided by Apple under their own privacy policies. Tessel does not operate its own crash reporting systems.

Support

If you contact us for support via email, we will receive your email address and any information you choose to include. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry, is not shared with third parties, and is deleted within 30 days.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
